BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast beach volleyball (16-10) completed its regular season sweep of Jacksonville (14-15) with a 4-1 win on Friday morning.
Erin Miller and
Nicole De Oliveira started off with a 21-12, 21-14 win on court 2, and the pair of
Kaitlyn Beck and
Kristina Gluc added a 21-19, 23-21 win on court 4. The Eagles clinched the match with a 21-13, 21-13 win from
Andrea Dietz and
Sydney Majick on court 3.
Alexis Keeter and
Ava Lilliquist added a fourth pair win, 23-21, 11-21, 15-12, for FGCU.
The Eagles now lead the all-time series with JU 26-7, and have won 23 consecutive matches over the Dolphins since 2016.
Next, FGCU takes on Stephen F. Austin for the first time in program history at 2 p.m.
