FORT MYERS, Fla. – FGCU continues its first road trip of the season on Friday when the Eagles will open a three-game series at Bethune-Cookman beginning at 7 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach.
The series will continue on Saturday at 6 p.m. and conclude Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games will be broadcast online via SWACTV with live stats also available. Links to all of the live coverage

Awaiting the Eagles (10-3) is one of the nation's most powerful offenses in Bethune-Cookman (9-4). A 2025 NCAA Regional team, the Wildcats rank in the top 50 nationally in batting average (45th), doubles (20th), hits (44th), on-base percentage (39th), runs scored (39th), sacrifice flies (11th), scoring (50th) and stolen bases (4th).
However, do not be lured into thinking that means facing their pitching is easy. The Wildcats hurlers rank eighth in shutouts (2), 57th nationally in ERA (3.94) and 79th nationally in WHIP (1.39). But most impressively, this B-CU team can run as they currently rank fourth nationally with 44 stolen bases this year.
FGCU looks to return to the win column against a program against which it has found plenty of success over the years. The Eagles have won the last three meetings against the Wildcats, and are 27-15 all-time against B-CU, with a 13-6 mark in Daytona Beach.
Jon Embury leads an FGCU offense that is just as potent as Bethune-Cookman, ranking fourth nationally in hits (159), sixth in doubles (37), 30
th in slugging percentage (.519) and 36
th in runs (110). The Eagles catcher himself is one to be particularly wary of while at the plate as he ranks ninth in the country in RBIs. Embury is so talented at driving in runs, he tallied two RBIs at UCF on Wednesday, despite going 0-for-4 at the plate.
Javier Gorostola notched a pair of hits in that Wednesday contest with an RBI courtesy of a solo home run. He enters the weekend series ranked fourth nationally in this (24), having hit safely in every game to date this season.
