GILBERT, Ariz. – After claiming wins in three of her four matches since the start of the year, Florida Gulf Coast sophomore
June Bjork was recognized for her success on the court by earning a No. 112 national ranking in singles.
Bjork is 6-4 overall this season and has posted a 3-1 record in dual match play. In her most recent singles action, she cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win over Middle Tennessee's Rutuja Chaphalkar.
She is the only Atlantic Sun women's tennis player to be ranked in the latest national rankings by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), released on Feb. 4.

Bjork is the first Eagle to receive a national ranking in singles since Emma Bardet was ranked 96
th nationally on Feb. 21, 2023.
FGCU (4-1) returns to action Friday when the Eagles play at USF (0-2). The Bulls haven't played a dual match since back-to-back losses on the courts on Jan. 17 at Florida State (6-1) and Jan. 18 at UCF (4-1).
