TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast beach volleyball will play its second tournament of 2026 in Tallahassee this weekend.
The Eagles will open against South Florida at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 27 before facing No. 7 TCU at noon on Friday. FGCU and Tampa will play at 9:45 on Saturday, February 28, and the fourth matchup of the weekend will be determined based on results from the first three matches.
FGCU enters at 2-2 after knocking off South Carolina during the JU Season Opener. The Eagles also beat the Dolphins, but fell to North Florida and Stetson. The Eagles' No. 1 pair of
Alexis Keeter and
Ava Lilliquist has gotten out to a 3-1 record, including the decisive win over the Gamecocks.
TCU is ranked seventh after winning the 2025 national championship. The Horned Frogs are 3-1 in 2026 after losing to then-No. 11 Arizona State, but beating No. 13 Grand Canyon, Arizona, and UC Davis.
USF is also 3-1 after the opening weekend of play. The Bulls boast wins over Tulane, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and New Orleans. Their lone blemish came against LSU.
