JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast beach volleyball dropped a pair of hard-fought ranked contests at the JU Season Opener on Saturday, falling 3-2 to No. 14 Stetson and No. 17 North Florida.

Against the Hatters, Alexis Keeter and Ava Lilliquist got a pair victory, as did Vanessa Moriarty and Kristina Gluc. Andrea Dietz and Sydney Majick combined with Elaina Millaway and Emma Soncrant to earn points against the Ospreys.

Next, FGCU travels to the FSU Tournament from February 27-28.
