FORT MYERS, Fla. – Eagles fans returning to campus for FGCU's Homecoming Weekend have a chance to head out to Swanson Stadium and potentially see history when FGCU's baseball team hosts Stonehill College.

The Eagles (4-0) have matched their second-best start in school history and could tie their best start with a win on Friday to go 5-0. Fans of the Green & Blue won't have to look far for entertainment as FGCU has won three of its four game this season on walk-offs.

Stonehill College (0-4) is continuing its tour of the Gulf Coast following a four-game series at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last weekend. While the Skyhawks may be searching for their first win of the year, they have already shown they can make defensive plays having turned three double plays in four games.

The two teams have met once prior, but you'll have to really dig deep in the memory banks to recall when. The only prior meeting came in FGCU's inaugural season and the Eagles hammered out an 11-8 win over Stonehill at Terry Park in Fort Myers.
