FORT MYERS, Fla. – Eagle softball fans will have their first opportunity to see the 2026 Eagles in action at noon on Saturday, Jan. 31, when head coach
Lindsay Fico's first team at FGCU hits the dirt for an open practice and intrasquad scrimmage.
Admission to the FGCU Softball Complex is free for the open practice, which comes just five days ahead of Florida Gulf Coast's season opener against D1 Softball Mid-Major preseason #25 Charlotte at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 5.
Tickets for all 31 games at the FGCU Softball Complex starting at $14 per game for adults can now be obtained at
FGCUtickets.com or by calling 1-866-FGCU-TIX. Season tickets and mini-plans, including the Seventh Inning Stretch and Double Play Flex Plan, are still on sale.Â
The Eagles open the 2026 campaign with a 14-game home stand comprised of the FGCU Kickoff Classic, the FGCU Eagle Invitational and the Gulf Coast Classic, featuring UConn, Wisconsin and Louisville, among others, along with midweek contests against Kansas and FAU.Â
