ORLANDO, Fla. - The Eagles continued play at the UCF Challenge Presented by PDI on Monday, sitting in sixth place after the completion of the second round before moving into seventh as the third round got underway at Eagle Creek Golf Club due to anticipated cold temperatures on Tuesday morning.

Leonie Wulfers delivered another strong performance to lead the Eagles, following up her opening round with a four-under 68 in round two to move into sole possession of first place on the individual leaderboard at eight-under par. After setting the pace early in round three, Wulfers settled into a tie for seventh individually as the leaderboard tightened later in the day. Wulfers is also tied for seventh in the field with 11 birdies through two-plus rounds, positioning herself among the tournament's top contenders.
Sydney Deal remained steady for FGCU, posting a one-over 73 in the second round to sit two-under overall at the conclusion of round two. As round three progress, Deal finds herself in a tie for 18th at one-under.
Amelie Alcantara and
Islay Benoit each carded one-over rounds of 73, while
Anne Yost added a two-over 74 as the Eagles maintained a competitive spot on the leaderboard. As round three went on, Alcantara and Benoit found themselves in a tie for 46th at four-over, and Yost is tied for 53rd at five-over.
As a team, FGCU continues to showcase its scoring ability, leading the field with two eagles and ranking ninth in team birdies with 35 through two-plus rounds.

The Eagles will resume and complete the remaining holes of the third round on Tuesday morning, with an expected 11 a.m. tee time as the UCF Challenge concludes.
