CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Florida Gulf Coast men's basketball (8-11, 2-4 ASUN) will begin a time-adjusted road trip on Thursday, when the Eagles rematch with Austin Peay (11-6, 5-1 ASUN) at 1 p.m. ET in Clarksville.

With a significant snow & ice storm expected in Tennessee on Friday night and throughout the weekend, FGCU adjusted its schedule to play Austin Peay at 1 p.m. ET / noon CT on Thursday and at 1 p.m. ET / noon CT against Lipscomb on Friday for the first and only scheduled back-to-back gameday of ASUN regular season play.

Any snow in the Nashville metro area on Thursday and Friday would mark the first time this season that the Eagles have played at the same time as any outdoor precipitation (rain, snow or sleet), should there be snowfall during the game. 

Rahmir Barno led the five Eagles in double-digits with 19 points in their decisive 90-72 home win over West Georgia. Isaiah Malone and Jordan Ellerbee each chipped in 16, and Jack Reddick scored a career-high 14 for FGCU.

Austin Peay has four players averaging double-digits in 2025-26, led by Collin Parker, who scores 15.4 points per game on 47.8% shooting from the field and 42.1% shooting from 3-point range. Rashaud Marshall averages 12.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game, the latter of which is the best mark for the Governors. Zyree Collins scores 14.4 points, and adds a team-high 3.8 assists & 2.5 steals per game; Tate McCubbin leads APSU with 31.2 minutes per game and contributes 11.8 points per game. 

Lipscomb has four players averaging double-digit scoring, led by Grant Asman at 14.4 points per game. Asman also grabs 6.8 rebounds and tallies 1.2 blocks per game. Mateo Esmeraldo averages 9.8 points, 7.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He ranks fifth nationally in total assists. Ethan Duncan scores 10.8, Charlie Williams contributes 10.5 and Titas Sargiunas adds 10.5 points per game.

Austin Peay leads the all-time series 4-2 and won the previous game in 2026, 82-71, in Fort Myers. Zyree Collins scored a game-high 25 points and Tate McCubbin hit four triples for the Govs, who shot 45.2% from 3-point range. JR Konieczny scored 20 and Ellerbee added 16 for the Eagles in the loss.

FGCU has never won a road game at F&M Bank Arena. The Governors won the most recent matchup in Clarksville, 73-60, in 2025. In that game, McCubbin scored 15 on five made 3-pointers. Stewart scored 7 in 19 minutes for FGCU.

Lipscomb leads the all-time series 21-14. The two squads have met every year that FGCU has been in Division I. FGCU is 6-11 in Nashville, where the Eagles earned their most recent win over the Bisons, 77-68 on February 5, 2022. Lipscomb prevailed 84-77 in the first matchup of the season; Charlie Williams scored 27 to lead all scorers and Konieczny scored 26.
