Men’s tennis hits road for matches against Tulsa, Arkansas and Oral Roberts

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Gulf Coast University men's tennis continues its spring season on the road this weekend with a doubleheader at Tulsa before battling Arkansas and Oral Roberts.

The Eagles (0-2) will face Tulsa on Friday at 11 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. On Saturday, FGCU will play Arkansas at 11 a.m. and Oral Roberts later in the evening at 5 p.m.

Pablo Paternostro earned the first Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Week award of the season on Tuesday after teaming up with Mika Bunjes for a doubles win against Louisiana, and Paternostro also won his singles match with a 6-3, 6-4 victory on court No. 3.

The Golden Hurricane finished last season with a 14-14 record and has never faced the Eagles. Arkansas (2-0) is coming off a 6-1 win versus UTRGV last Saturday. This will be the first time FGCU will play the Razorbacks.

Oral Roberts recorded a 5-18 record last season, and this will be a new matchup for the Eagles.
