FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Gulf Coast University's Pablo Paternostro earned the first Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Week award of the season on Tuesday.

Paternostro first teamed up with Mika Bunjes to win their doubles match 6–4 on court No. 2 against Louisiana's Samuel Kyjaci and David Simeonov.

In singles play, he delivered a 6–3, 6–4 victory on court No. 3 to help keep the Eagles in the match.

Paternostro and the rest of the Eagles will return to action Friday at Tulsa for a doubleheader.
