FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University Women's Basketball has officially announced its 2025-26 nonconference schedule, featuring a dynamic lineup of opponents.
The Eagles, under the leadership of first-year head coach
Raina Harmon, are set to host national powerhouses Indiana University and the University of South Carolina in Fort Myers, while also traveling to Las Vegas to face perennial contender Stanford University in the Resorts World Las Vegas Classic.
"Our program has a proud history of competing with the best, and we're excited to keep building on that tradition. This year's slate includes NCAA Tournament teams, strong mid-major programs, and Power Four matchups with Indiana and South Carolina," said Harmon. "It's a great showcase of the level of basketball we're competing at and an incredible opportunity for our community to experience it firsthand."
The nonconference schedule tips off at home Nov. 8 against Davidson, followed by a local matchup with Ave Maria. FGCU will then hit the road to face George Mason before returning to host Indiana Nov. 25 in what promises to be a high-energy showdown.
The team will travel to Las Vegas for back-to-back games against Stanford Nov. 28 and Troy Nov. 29, offering a national stage for the Eagles to showcase their talent.
FGCU will host perennial powerhouse South Carolina Saturday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m., marking one of the most anticipated nonconference home games in program history
