FGCU women's basketball ASUN schedule released

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference and Florida Gulf Coast University women's basketball have jointly announced the 2025-26 conference slate. The quest for the program's ninth straight ASUN regular season title starts January 1, 2026.

For the full conference schedule, visit the official FGCU women's basketball schedule page.

The ASUN conference schedule consists of an 18-game slate, which includes nine home games and nine road contests. FGCU starts conference play with back-to-back home games, first hosting North Alabama on January 1, 2026, for a New Year's Day matchup and then ASUN runner-up Central Arkansas for a January 3, 2026, rematch. Last season at Alico Arena, the Eagles punched their ticket back to the Big Dance with a 68-51 victory over the Bears.

FGCU embarks on a four-game road stretch starting Jan. 8 at Austin Peay. FGCU is also set to play Lipscomb, West Georgia and Queens all on the road during the span. FGCU returns home to host Austin Peay (Jan. 22) and Lipscomb (Jan. 24) before hitting the road once again, this time for Central Arkansas and North Alabama to round out the month of January.

The Green and Blue is scheduled for six conference games come February, three at home and three away. FGCU begins the month at home by welcoming Bellarmine (Feb. 5) and Jacksonville (Feb. 7).

After road games at North Florida and Stetson, head coach Raina Harmon and the Eagles return to Alico Arena to face Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 19). Two of FGCU's final three regular-season games will be played at home. The team's last ASUN road contest is set for February. 21, 2026, at Jacksonville. FGCU will then host in-state rivals North Florida and Stetson to close out the season, with the regular season finale scheduled for Friday, February 27, 2026, against the Hatters.

The first round of the ASUN Tournament commences Tuesday, March 3, which will now be held in Jacksonville, Florida, this season at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The Championship is set for Monday, March 9, 2026.

Last year, FGCU posted a perfect 18-0 record in conference. The Eagles recorded back-to-back undefeated seasons in the ASUN en route to their eighth straight regular season and ninth straight tournament crown.

The Green and Blue is 97-3 in their last 100 ASUN regular games and finished last year ranked No. 5 overall in the CollegeInsider.com's Mid-Major Top 25 Poll. FGCU has won 45 straight ASUN regular-season contests. The last regular-season conference loss for FGCU came in 2022 against Stetson.

First-year head coach Harmon aims to continue the winning tradition. The Eagles returned five players from their championship-winning season and welcomed in seven new additions to the 2025-26 roster.
