FORT MYERS, Fla. - Jordan Fischer was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced Thursday.

Fischer finished tied for second (-7) at the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, South Carolina.

The junior from Halle, Germany shot a total of 209 for the invitational, firing off back-to-back low rounds of 67 (-5) and 69 (-3) in the first and second rounds. Her first round score of a 67 was the best individual round score of the entire weekend.

Fischer had eight birdies in the first round, and then added nine birdies over the final two rounds for a three-round total of 17, good enough to lead the field in that category.

The Green and Blue will next compete at FIU's Pat Bradley Invitational in Doral, Fla. on Sept. 29-30.
