FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast women's soccer goalkeeper
Madara Matrevica was named the ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Matrevica earned her first career honor after posting a clean sheet against Grambling State, the second of her career. Her performance in goal propelled FGCU to a 3-0 win over the Tigers.
Matrevica's award is the second weekly award for the Eagles of the 2025 season, joining
Ryanne Robinson's Defensive Player of the Week nod from Sept. 2.
Next, Matrevica and FGCU open conference play at Stetson at 1 p.m. Sept. 21.
