FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University's women's soccer will travel to DeLand to open ASUN play against Stetson at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21.
FGCU closed nonconference play with a 3-0 win over Grambling State at home.
Tessa Brooks and
Erika Zschuppe scored for the Eagles in the win, and
Madara Matrevica's clean sheet earned her ASUN goalkeeper of the week honors.
Stetson enters at 3-6 and has yet to earn a win in September, with losses to Florida State, Troy, South Florida and Wofford marring the Hatters' slate in the month. Brooke Voorhees leads the Stetson side with four points on the campaign.
For the first time in program history, FGCU is offering fall
season tickets for its soccer programs, with packages starting at $60. Fans who purchase season tickets for either the men's or women's soccer teams will receive a season ticket combo for both programs.
