Volleyball announces highly competitive 2025 schedule

FORT MYERS, Fla. – New Florida Gulf Coast University head coach Thais Baziquetto‑Allen has released the 2025 volleyball schedule.

"We've put together a tough preseason schedule by design. We want to challenge ourselves right away—to see how we respond, where we're strong, and where we need to keep building as we prepare for conference play," coach Baziquetto‑Allen said. "Every match will give us an opportunity to gain experience. With the energy our newcomers bring and the experience of our returners, this group has the potential to do something special. We're fired up to get to work and can't wait for the fall."

FGCU will begin the season with three consecutive matches. On Aug. 30, the Eagles will welcome 2025 Sweet Sixteen opponent University of Missouri at 1 p.m., before battling James Madison at 7 p.m. The following day, the Eagles will play JMU again with an early match time of 10 a.m. One week later, the Green & Blue will head to Tempe, Arizona, for the Nore‑Stahl Classic hosted by Arizona State.
