FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University Athletics has named Kaitlyn Luebbers of beach volleyball and Jonathan Baron of men's tennis as the Suncoast Credit Union Scholar Athletes of the Month for March.

Luebbers, a senior majoring in Health Science, holds a 3.90 GPA and has etched her name into the FGCU record books as the program's all-time leader in career wins. She capped off her 2025 season with First Team All-ASUN Conference honors, continuing to be a cornerstone of the Eagles' beach volleyball success.

Baron, a sophomore standout on the men's tennis team, boasts a 3.64 GPA and delivered a strong performance throughout the spring season. Competing primarily at the No. 2 singles position, he secured eight match victories, contributing significantly to FGCU's competitive campaign.

The Suncoast Credit Union Scholar Athlete of the Month award recognizes student-athletes who excel both in the classroom and in competition.
