FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast women's soccer forward
Kendal Gargiula was named the ASUN Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Gargiula had the best game of her career in the Eagles' regular season finale. The North Fort Myers native tallied a brace and paired it with a trio of assists for a career high seven points.
It's the second brace of Gargiula's senior campaign and the fourth of her career; all four of which have come in ASUN play. She finished the season tied for third in the ASUN in goals scored, is alone in third for goals scored in conference play and is tied for second for points recorded in conference play.
Gargiula and the Eagles open the postseason in the ASUN Women's Soccer Championship Quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 against No. 4 Bellarmine at Pickering Field.
