FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast men's soccer senior defender Ignatius Demark was named the ASUN Defender of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Demark scored the winning goal in FGCU's 1-0 result over Stetson, propelling the Eagles to second place in the Graphite Division. Demark's third score of the season was his first in ASUN play, and he also played all 90 minutes on FGCU's backline in the shutout.

Next, FGCU will honor Demark and the program's 17 seniors in the final game of the regular season at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 against Jacksonville.
