FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University women's tennis is set to host Florida Atlantic University Friday at noon.

The matchup will take place at the FGCU Tennis Complex.

The Eagles (3-2) last match was at Mercer on Sunday, and they left Macon, Georgia with a 4-2 victory. The Owls (2-0) are coming off a 4-0 victory versus Minnesota on Jan.19.

FGCU and the Owls have met 17 times, and FAU narrowly leads the series 9-8. The Eagels fell 5-2 last season on Jan. 28 in Boca Raton.

Both Ashley Matz and Nora Svensson hold a 3-1 record in singles. Paloma Goldsmith and Svensson lead the Green & Blue with a 3-2 mark in doubles action.
