Biography
Freshman (2024–25)
Matz captured nine singles victories during her sophomore season, competing primarily at the No. 1 position. She opened the season with a 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 win over No. 4 Lipscomb and added dramatic three-set victories against Barry (6-7, 7-5, 7-6) and Minnesota (7-6, 4-6, 6-4). The sophomore also earned ASUN wins over Queens (6-0, 6-2) and Eastern Kentucky (6-2, 6-0), highlighting her consistency at the top of the lineup.
In doubles, Matz teamed exclusively with Isabella Colmenares, registering seven wins at the No. 1 position. Together, they defeated Middle Tennessee, Mercer, Yale, Bellarmine, Queens, and Eastern Kentucky, showcasing strong teamwork and net play throughout the season.

Born on Feb 21, 2007... Daughter of Yunge Matz and Cory Matz and has two siblings Kylie and Jordy Matz.. Plans to major in Chemistry.
