David Deiros earned his 200th ASUN victory in Jacksonville, Fla. on Sunday against the University of North Florida. This game won the series for Florida Gulf Coast University, moving FGCU into a tie for second in conference.

The first inning started with a bang as the Eagles put up four runs. The offense started when
Riley Oakes hit a triple to right field and got the hitting energy going.
Nikki Gibson walked and stole second followed by
Tiffany Meek getting hit by a pitch and loading up the bases.
Meagan Ricks was next to the plate and singled to center bringing Oakes and Gibson home for the opening runs of the game.
McKenzie Wittenberg stepped up and drove in two herself with another single to center, giving the Eagles a 4-0 lead.
The Ospreys put up two in the first to bring the score to 4-2. Sparkman entered in the second and kept the Ospreys' run total static at two until
Angelina Bonilla came in to tally her conference leading seventh save.
