FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University's beach volleyball team will head to the TCU Invitational this weekend to face three nationally ranked teams.
The Eagles (10-10) get started Friday at 8 a.m. taking on No. 11 Arizona State University (11-3) before battling No. 4 and host Texas Christian University (14-2) at noon. FGCU will close out the day taking on No. 14 Washington (7-7) at 6 p.m.
Saturday at 10 a.m. the Green & Blue faces FIU (14-3).
FGCU is coming off a 4-1 home victory against Palm Beach Atlantic University and a 4-1 defeat by No. 16 FAU.
ASU has a 1-0 lead over FGCU and the Horned Frogs lead the series 4-1 over the Eagles. This will be the first matchup against Washington and FIU dominates the series 9-1 over the Green & Blue.
