FORT MYERS, Fla. - Maddie Antenucci from women's basketball and Hugo Magnusson from men's tennis have been named the latest recipients of the Florida Gulf Coast University Suncoast Credit Union Scholar-Athletes of the Month award.

Antenucci and Magnusson are the recipients of the award for the month of February. The award has existed since the 2011-12 season, with Suncoast Credit Union having taken title sponsorship of the award for the past three years.

Antenucci scored a career-high 25 points in FGCU's 66-51 win over Stetson January 13. In 16 games played, she is averaging 11.9 points per game. In the classroom, Antenucci is a biology major with a 3.71 GPA.

Magnusson has helped to anchor the No. 1 spot in the lineup for the FGCU men's tennis squad. He helped the Eagles to a win in the doubles point against the University of Louisiana at the No. 1 position, then earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles to help FGCU to its first win of the season. In the classroom, Magnusson has a perfect 4.0 GPA and is majoring in finance.
