FORT MYERS, Fla. -
Dallion Johnson scored a team-high 17 points as Florida Gulf Coast University dropped a 78-58 decision to the University of North Florida in Atlantic Sun Conference men's basketball action Saturday night at Alico Arena, snapping a four-game winning streak.
Keeshawn Kellman had his second-straight double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds while
Zach Anderson had 10 points
After the team connected for 11 3-pointers against Jacksonville University Thursday night, the Eagles (7-10, 1-1 ASUN) could only muster four in Saturday's contest, all of which came in the second half and tying for the fewest the Eagles have made in a game this season. Conversely, UNF (8-9, 1-1 ASUN) drained 17 3-pointers on the night, the most the Eagles have allowed this season.
UNF had four players in double-figures, led by Chaz Lanier's 19.
The Eagles will be idle until Wednesday when they travel to face Queens University of Charlotte in ASUN action. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
