Ollie Edmunds Center. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m., with the action available to view on ESPN+.

FGCU has won 19 of its last 21 games – including a 100-58 victory Wednesday evening, the Eagles' first back-to-back game eclipsing 100 points in school history. The Eagles are atop the ASUN standings, a full game ahead of Austin Peay, Liberty and Lipscomb – which are each 10-2 in conference play. The Green & Blue was the first team to clinch an ASUN Tournament berth.

The Green & Blue have now hit 310 3-pointers, for an average of 11.9 treys per game – the highest total and per-game average in the country. The Eagles are 2.2 treys per game ahead of Wright State and Tulsa. FGCU has almost tripled their opponents' treys total, allowing only 109 this season.

FGCU is third in the country with a scoring margin of 22.3 points per game – with only South Carolina (33.9) and LSU (32.4) sporting higher scoring margins. The Eagles are currently eighth in the nation in assist/turnover ratio with 1.40.

The Hatters' loss to the Eagles on Wednesday broke their two-game winning streak. Senior guard Jamiya Turner scored a team-high 13 points, and freshman forward Jaelyn Talley pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.

Turner leads the team with 12.4 points per game, and both Turner and Talley each pull down 4.9 rebounds per outing.

Saturday's game will be the 38th meeting between the Eagles and the Hatters, with FGCU leading 32-5.

The Green & Blue are 15-2 all-time at the J. Ollie Edmunds Center.

FGCU's victory over Stetson on Wednesday was the 11th time out of 23 wins this season that the Green & Blue scored 85 or more points, and its second time eclipsing the 100-point threshold.

Graduate guard Tishara Morehouse (Milwaukee, Wis./Rufus King HS/Nebraska CC) scored 17 points and dealt 10 assists against Stetson. That performance was only the 15th time an Eagle dealt 10 or more assists in FGCU history, and her double-double with assists was only the sixth in the Green & Blue's 21-year existence.

Graduate guard Sha Carter (Southfield. Mich./Wylie E. Groves HS/Walsh) registered 16 points, grabbed three rebounds and chipped in two assists. Redshirt junior guard Alyza Winston (Muskegon, Mich./Muskegon HS/Mississippi State) went for 14 points, two rebounds, and two assists. Senior forward Uju Ezeudu (Reynoldsburg, Ohio/Reynoldsburg HS/Denver) scored 11 points and pulled down two rebounds.

Morehouse leads the Eagles this season with 16.4 points per game, which ranks her second in the ASUN. Winston adds 13.7 points per outing, and Carter adds 12.3 points per game.

Carter leads FGCU in rebounds with 5.2 per game. Both Morehouse and graduate guard Emma List (Colorado Springs, Colo./Discovery Canyon Campus/Albany) lead the team with 112 assists. Morehouse also leads the Green & Blue with 55 3-pointers, with Winston close behind with 48 triples.

After Saturday's game, the Eagles will return home – first taking on Lipscomb (16-8, 10-2) Thursday at 7 p.m. and then hosting Austin Peay (15-7, 10-2) Saturday at 3 p.m.

FGCU's run to its 2021-22 national ranking was due to the Eagles' continued dominance behind the 3-point arc. The Eagles have led the nation in made threes per game the past three years and in four of the last five seasons -- with an NCAA single-season record total 431 in 2017-18.

Entering this season, the Eagles were selected by both the coaches and the media to repeat as ASUN champions. FGCU is currently ranked No. 4 in the Collegeinsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll. The Eagles finished with a program-best-ever No. 20 ranking in 2021-22 and have four Top 25 finishes in the past five seasons. Further, only the Green & Blue and defending national champion South Carolina have won at least 30 games in five of the last eight campaigns.
