Men's Soccer heads to No. 13 North Carolina

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Gulf Coast University men's soccer will head to North Carolina to battle No. 13 in the US Coaches poll and No. 10 in the RPI Rankings and 2022 NCAA first-round participant the University of North Carolina Tuesday. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Dorrance Field and fans can catch all the action live on the ACC Network.

This will be the second meeting between the programs after the teams met in 2016 during the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament. The Eagles (3-2-4, 2-0-2 ASUN) dropped a close 3-2 double overtime battle in Chapel Hill to the Tar Heels, who was No. 10 at the time.

The Eagles are coming off a 1-1 draw against Bellarmine University on Saturday at Pickering Field, while UNC (5-1-4, 1-1-3 ACC) fell 1-0 against No. 18 Syracuse Friday.
