FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University women's soccer awaits No. 7 seed Austin Peay for an ASUN Championship Quarterfinal showdown Sunday at Pickering Field.

In the First Round on Tuesday, Austin Peay upset No. 6 Kennesaw State by forcing a 1-1 tie at the end of regulation and advanced to its quarterfinal date with the Eagles by surviving 3-2 on penalty kicks.
FGCU took down Austin Peay 2-0 at home earlier back on Oct. 5. ASUN First Team selections Ashley Labbe and Erika Zschuppe both scored against the Governors in the match.
FGCU is 17-2-4 all-time in the ASUN Tournament and eyes to begin defense of its 2022 title Sunday in hopes of later earning its eighth NCAA Tournament appearance.
Sunday's winner will advance to Nashville, Tennessee, to take on No. 2 Central Arkansas in the semifinals Thursday, Nov. 2.
