FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles play at home for the final time during the regular season on Sunday as they host the Stetson Hatters on Senior Day at Pickering Field. The Eagles will recognize their five seniors in a pregame ceremony prior to their 1 p.m. kick before attempting to be the first team in the ASUN to punch their ticket to the conference tournament with a win.
Â
The Eagles took over first place in the ASUN standings last week after extending their unbeaten streak to 11 games with back-to-back wins over North Florida and Jacksonville at Pickering Field. The wins pushed FGCU to 4-0-2 in ASUN action giving them 14 points in conference play, one more than North Florida and six more than Lipscomb and Jacksonville in third. The Eagles are 4-0-4 at home this season and are now unbeaten over their last 14 regular season home games at Pickering Field.

Sophomore forward
Keira Morgan recorded her first career brace in last Sunday's win over Jacksonville giving her points on four of FGCU's five goals last week. For her efforts she was named both the ASUN Player of the Week and to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week on Monday.
Â
Five Eagles playing in their final regular season home game at Pickering Field on Sunday will be recognized in a pregame ceremony.
Maya Henley Buisan is the most experienced Eagle of the bunch, entering Sunday with 72 career games played in the Green and Blue.
Ava Russell has made her two goals this season count, netting her first in the Eagles win over LSU and her second the game winner over Bellarmine on the road two weeks ago.
Ava Boyd netted a pair of goals in her Eagle debut last season and drew her first start at FGCU as they took on LSU last year in Fort Myers.
Reese Dunaway has helped the Eagles to three shutouts this season on the back line.
Sarah Greiner has been one of the top players in the ASUN, ranking in the top five in the league in both shots and shots on goal while also contributing to five shutouts on the defensive end.
Â
While FGCU enters Sunday on a three-game winning streak, Stetson comes in on the other side of the coin, having dropped each of their last five contests. The Hatters have managed just one goal in their past five games and have been shutout in 10 of their 12 games against Division I opponents this year. There will be a familiar face on the Hatters sideline on Sunday as former FGCU assistant coach Jamie Souza is in his third season in charge at Stetson.
Â
Pickering Field has been a house of horrors for Stetson over the years as FGCU is a perfect 11-0-0 against the Hatters in Fort Myers, outscoring them 32-5 in the 11 contests. FGCU has more victories over Stetson than any other program all-time with 20.
Â
Senior Day festivities will get underway at approximately 12:45 p.m. will kick set for 1 p.m.
