FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University swimming and diving opens the 2023-24 season Friday and Saturday by hosting Bellarmine University and Florida Atlantic University at the Lee County/FGCU Aquatics Center.

FGCU takes on both Bellamine and FAU Friday beginning at 1 p.m., and just Bellarmine Saturday starting at 11 a.m. Friday's points will not carry over into Saturday's meet against the Knights.

Admission is free. Fans are advised to wear pink for Beat Cancer Day on Friday, and free coffee and doughnuts will be available to students for Saturday's meet.

Last season, FGCU placed fourth at the CCSA Championships and now welcomes 11 newcomers to begin its inaugural season in the ASUN Conference.

Cameron Kuriger emerged as a two-time finalist at the CCSA Championships a season ago, winning gold in the 200 fly and silver in the 100 fly. Jenna Gwinn, who was a part of the bronze medley relay squad in the CCSA Championships, also returns to The Nest.
