O'Vonte Mullings Named United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region

Mullings earns honor for third time in career.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – FGCU men's soccer senior standout O'Vonte Mullings has been named All-Atlantic Region by United Soccer Coaches, earning a spot on the second team.

Mullings (Toronto, Ontario, Canada/Northview Heights Secondary) is coming off a season in which he led the Eagles with seven goals while also leading the ASUN with 0.54 goals per game. In his career, he is second all-time in FGCU history with 63 points and 28 goals in just 57 games played.

"O'Vonte is a special talent, but also has the drive, dedication, and character to become an exceptional player here," said head coach Jesse Cormier. "To be the second leading scorer in FGCU history, and only have played three full seasons is phenomenal. We look forward to seeing him play at the next level."

This is the third time in his career he has been named All-Region after being named to the second-team in 2018 and the third-team in 2019. It also adds to his list of accomplishments wearing the Green and Blue as he is a four-time All-ASUN First-Team selection, the 2020 ASUN Player of the Year, as well as the 2018 ASUN Freshman of the Year.

Over the course of his career, Mullings helped lead the Eagles to 25 wins, including 15 in the ASUN, which included four this season as FGCU earned the #3 seed in the ASUN Tournament.

He is one of just 16 players in program history to be named All-Region and becomes just the second player alongside former teammate Shak Adams to be a three-time selection.
