Riley Randolph (St. Petersburg, FL./Northeast HS) has gone 3-0 overall with a 0.74 ERA with wins coming against No. 15 Indiana and No. 21 Minnesota. Overall she owns a 0.73 ERA which is good for seventh in the nation as her 121 strikeouts rank ninth in the country. Monday afternoon, Randolph was named the ASUN Pitcher of the Week for the second time this year.

Kate Kelly (Cape Coral, FL./Seminole State College) leads the team in hitting (.354) and is a threat on the bases going 13-for-14 in stolen base attempts. Freshman
Reedy Davenport (St. Johns, FL./Bartram Trail HS) leads the attack with 17 RBI as she hit two grand slams Friday, one against LIU Brooklyn and the other coming off Seton Hall.
In the circle, Randolph leads the bunch with 10 wins in 14 starts, holding opposing batters to a .170 BA. The pitching staff as a whole has combined to post a 1.89 ERA.

Senior
Racquel Fournet (Windermere, FL./Windermere Preparatory School) registered her 200th career hit with the Green and Blue (one of seven players in program history) in her first at-bat of the game Sunday afternoon against NDSU. In the process, she is now the only player in school history to record 200 hits and at least 50 doubles (54).
Scouting the Lions
The Lions enter Fort Myers with an overall 7-9 record, most recently defeating Lafayette, 4-1. Columbia's offensive unit features two hittters batting above .400 as Max Ortega (.449) and Sommer Grzybek (.405) lead the attack. Gryzbek also leads the team in RBI (14).
In the circle, the lions have utilized four pitchers this season with Madison Canby going 4-4 with a 1.38 ERA. The entire staff holds a 5.47 ERA as batters are hitting .282 off them.

COACH DEIROS
The founding father of FGCU softball, David Deiros is in his 17th season as head coach. Hired in 2001 to build the program from the dirt up, Deiros has since guided the Eagles to a 624-326-3 (.657), going 139-84 (.623) in the ASUN, having 13 seasons with a winning record, and nine campaigns with 35 wins. Deiros is a former head coach at the 1998 Florida State Runner-up Lely High School in Naples and is the founding head coach of the 1999 District Champion/2001 Regional Runner-up Gulf Coast High School in Naples.

FGCU teams have combined to win an incredible 75 conference regular season and tournament titles in just 11+ seasons at the Division-I level. Additionally, in just seven+ seasons of D-I postseason eligibility, the Eagles have had a combined 34 teams or individuals compete in NCAA championships. Seven FGCU programs have earned a top-25 national ranking in their respective sport – including both men's and women's soccer again in 2018. In 2016-17, the Green and Blue posted a department-best 6th-place finish in the DI-AAA Learfield Directors' Cup and top-100 showing nationally, ahead of several Power-5 and FBS institutions.
