Series History
FGCU is 23-3 all-time against Jacksonville. The Eagles are 14-1 in Alico Arena and have won four straight in the series, including three hard-fought wins last year that culminated with a victory in the ASUN championship game in Fort Myers.

Dominant Start
For the ninth time in 12 seasons, FGCU has started 7-0 in ASUN play, and they've done it with improved defense as opponents are shooting just .218 from 3-point range in conference play compared to .304 for the season.

Over the past three games alone, the Eagles have forced an average of 26.7 turnovers and swiped 42 steals. They have also allowed single digit assists in four of the past six games while also allowing 16 or fewer made field goals in the past four and five of the past six games - something that hadn't been done in any of the prior 14 games.

Furthermore, over the first seven conference games, here's where this year's team ranks in comparison to previous years over the same period:

- They're outscoring opponents by 202 points, or an average of 28.9 per game, which is a program record. The only other team over 200 was the 2011-12 squad, who checked in at 201, and nobody else has been above 185.

- The aforementioned .218 3-point field goal defense is the third-best seven-game conference start behind the 2015-16 (.196) and 2013-14 (.204) teams.

- The team's .336 opponent field goal percentage is the fourth-best start.

- Offensively, the Green and Blue's .450 field goal and .371 3-point percentages are the best starts from the field since 2012-13.

- They've forced 144 turnovers, which is the most since the 2011-12 team (152) and is the fourth-best overall.

- The field goal percentage margin of .114 (.450 compared to .336) is the third-best start behind the 2011-12 (.133) and 2010-11 (.116) teams. On top of that, the .153 3-point percentage margin of .153 (.371 to .218) is the second-best start behind the 2011-12 team (.206).

30 Minutes
Over the game's first 30 minutes, FGCU is outscoring its opponents 428-221 in ASUN play. Thus, entering the fourth quarter, the Eagles average a 61-32 lead.

ASUN Standings
1. FGCU - 16-4, 7-0
2. North Alabama - 15-2, 6-1
3. Stetson - 10-11, 5-2

7. NJIT - 5-15, 2-5
8. Kennesaw State - 5-14, 1-5
9. Lipscomb - 2-18, 0-7

ASUN Dominance
FGCU is 177-16 all-time in regular season conference games and 19-2 in the postseason tournament since becoming eligible in 2011-12, which has led to 13 combined titles.

At home, the Eagles own a dominant 93-2 (.979) record in the regular season against the ASUN and are 115-4 (.966) against conference teams overall since 2011-12. Furthermore, they're 112-10 (.918) against current ASUN teams, and they have won 87 of the past 88 conference home games dating back to Jan. 22, 2009.

ASUN Tidbits
- Nasrin Ulel has scored 97 points in seven ASUN games so far - just 23 shy of her total from all of last year over 14 games.

- Tytionia Adderly needs two more rebounds for 300 in her ASUN career.

The record for fewest points allowed in a conference game is 24, which came in a 56-24 win over North Florida Feb. 25, 2015.

Better Off Single
FGCU has held opponents to single-digit quarters 11 times in conference play.

Record Book Notes
- Nasrin Ulel has moved into the top 20 in program history in points (738, 16th), points per game (9.0, 17th), field goals made (258, 19th), field goals attempted (603), field goal percentage (.428, 14th), 3-point field goals made (128, 8th), 3-point field goals attempted (362, 9th) and 3-point field goal percentage (.354, 13th). She is just 45 points shy of matching her scoring total from all of last year.

In the Division-I era, Ulel's .428 field goal percentage this year is eighth-best and her 128 3-point field goals ranks sixth-most. She needs 21 more 3-point attempts to surpass Kaneisha Atwater (382, 2013-16) for sixth-most in a D-I career, and her .354 long distance percentage is 10th-best.

- Lisa Zderadicka's 176 career assists in the Green and Blue ranks 17th-best in program history, just one behind Taylor Gradinjan (2012-18).

- Tytionia Adderly (87, T-17th) and Nasrin Ulel (82, 20th) have both ascended into the top 20 in career games played.

- Despite this being her only season in the Green and Blue, Destiny Washington's 25 blocks is tied with Brittany Kennedy (2011-13) for the 10th-most in a career overall and seventh-most in the Division-I era. She is on pace to finish with the fifth-best single season block total in program history behind Whitney Knight, who holds the top four seasons.

Offensively, Washington needs 67 points to join the 1,000 point, 600 rebound, 100 block, 100 steal, 100 assist club for her NCAA career. Her 13 3-point field goals this year is two more than she had her entire career entering this season.

Partners In Theft
Nasrin Ulel and Lisa Zderadicka are both tied for 17th-most career steals in the Division-I era with 72 apiece.

Dynamic Duo
Nasrin Ulel (297 points) and Keri Jewett-Giles (260 points) are on pace to score 477 and 416 points, respectively, this season, which would put both among the top 20 single-seasons in program history. In fact, Ulel's potential total would rank her eighth in program history - just ahead of Rosemarie Julien's 476 points in 2017-18, and it would check in among the top five totals in the Division-I era. Furthermore, Ulel's 14.9 PPG is currently the sixth-best single season average all-time, and she's on pace to become one of only five players in program history with at least 90 3-point field goals in a single season - joining Steffi Sorensen, Kelsey Jacobson, Whitney Knight and Taylor Gradinjan.

Alico Arena Tidbits
- Nasrin Ulel ranks ninth in Alico Arena history with 190 3-point field goals attempted. Should she bump her current scoring average (14.9 PPG) up to 15 PPG, she would become one of just seven players in program history to attain that average throughout a single season at home. Her 14.9 PPG average over 10 games at home this year is tied for the seventh-best total with Kaneisha Atwater (2014-15) and Kate Schrader (2005-06).

- Tytionia Adderly needs just six more offensive rebounds in Alico to become the arena's all-time career leader, a record currently held by Sarah Hansen (174, 2010-14). She also currently ranks third in career rebounds in Alico with 401 - just behind Whitney Knight (423, 2011-16) and Sarah Hansen (463, 2010-14). Furthermore, she is just two rebounds shy of 300 in Alico Arena.

Leading The Way
FGCU's starting five of Keri Jewett-Giles, Lisa Zderadicka, Destiny Washington, Nasrin Ulel and Tytionia Adderly - who have started all seven conference games so far - has produced 54.3 of FGCU's 77 PPG in conference play. They've forced 92 of 144 turnovers, held opposing starting lineups to just 16 made 3-point field goals and tallied 22.1 of the team's 35.9 rebounds per contest. Furthermore, each of the five are shooting at least .353 from 3-point range in ASUN games.

Super Sub
Davion Wingate, who leads the team with 22.2 PPG per 40 minutes played, is shooting .432 from 3-point range, which is by far a career-best for the redshirt junior.

Per 40 Stars
The trio of Davion Wingate (22.2), Keri Jewett-Giles (21.5) and Destiny Washington (20.0) are all averaging over 20 PPG per 40 minutes in ASUN play, and they comprise the fourth, sixth and eighth best such averages among all ASUN players, respectively.

Furthermore, four players average double-digit rebounds per 40 played - Tytionia Adderly (14.1), Brittany Johnson (14.1), Destiny Washington (13.0) and Kerstie Phills (10.4), while Lisa Zderadicka averages 8.3 assists.

Best in Program History
Tytionia Adderly, who was ranked as the best rebounder in program history by head coach Karl Smesko in a recent post-game interview, became just the third player to reach 700 career rebounds in the Green and Blue with her six against Lipscomb recently. She now has 719 and only trails Sarah Hansen (887) and Whitney Knight (735) on the all-time list.

Adderly is the top-ranked player in the program's Division-I era in rebounds per game (8.3), defensive rebounds per game (4.9) and offensive rebounds per game (3.4). Her 8.0 rebounds per game this year ranks as the second-best in the same era, and she's on pace to have the top three single season averages entering her senior year in 2019-20. Furthermore, she's on pace for her third top 10 single season in offensive rebounds.

Scoring Milestones
A total of five Eagles have eclipsed 700 career points and are on pace to reach 1,000 points in their NCAA careers either this year or next. Two of those five, Lisa Zderadicka and Destiny Washington are less than 100 away, while Davion Wingate, Nasrin Ulel and Keri Jewett-Giles round out the group.

Zderadicka is the closest to the mark with 971 over 112 career games, which includes 445 in the Green and Blue. Washington has 933 points over 104 games, including 155 this year with the Eagles.

The next two closest are Wingate, who has 773 points over 81 games - including 139 with FGCU, and Jewett-Giles, who has 762 points over 80 games - including 260 in the Green and Blue. Ulel was the most recent to join the club, and she has 738 points over 82 career games.

Mid-Major Power
Over the past four seasons, FGCU has recorded 121 wins, which is the most among all mid-majors and seventh-most among any Division-I program, trailing only UConn (148), Notre Dame (137), Baylor (135), South Carolina (129), Mississippi State (126) and Maryland (123). On top of that, the program is one of only six in Division-I with three 30-win seasons during that stretch – joining UConn, Baylor, Notre Dame, Maryland and South Carolina.

Leading the 3-Point Revolution
At FGCU, head coach Karl Smesko has turned FGCU into one of the premier 3-point shooting teams in the nation. This season alone, NCAA Division-I teams have recorded 16 games with at least 18 3-point field goals made, and the Eagles own four of them - the only school among the group with that many.

In 16 + seasons, Smesko's teams have shot a combined 5,092-for-14,679 (.347) from long range, or 9.38 per game. Earlier this season, Kerstie Phills made the program's 5,000th 3-point field goal. In fact, the team has made at least one 3-point field goal in 429 straight games and went without at least one make in only one game in program history – Feb. 21, 2006 vs Lynn University (0-for-11).

In 2017-18, the Green and Blue made an NCAA Division-I single season record 431 3-pointers on 1,190 attempts, equating out to a .362 percentage. In doing so, the team made and attempted over twice as many as they did in the program's initial season in 2002-03 (212-for-535). Since that first year, FGCU has made at least 300 in a season 10 times, including each of the past nine seasons.

2002-03 --- 212-for-535 (.396)
2003-04 --- 118-for-406 (.291)
2004-05 --- 253-for-722 (.350)

TOTALS: 5,092-for-14,679 (.347)

Including 13 of 20 games this season, FGCU has made at least 10 or more 3-point field goals in a single game 250 times, including a single-season record 25 times in 2017-18. They have at least 15 games with at least 10 or more in each of the past 10 seasons.

COACH SMESKO
FGCU head coach Karl Smesko led the 2017-18 Eagles to another historic season. The Green and Blue finished 31-5 overall and 13-1 in ASUN play, capturing the program's eighth ASUN regular season championship and fifth ASUN tournament championship. The team finished the season ranked 25th in the final USA Today Coaches Poll, recaptured the NCAA record for most 3-point field goals made in a season with 431 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in seven seasons, where the Eagles knocked off 5th-seeded and No. 15 ranked Missouri in the opening round. It was the team's second tournament win over the past three appearances. Over the course of the season, FGCU knocked off three ranked teams - No. 15 Missouri, No. 20 Kentucky and No. 21 DePaul.

Over the past four seasons, Smesko has guided FGCU to three 30 plus win seasons while recording a 121-23 (.840) record overall. The now eight-time ASUN Coach of the Year rallied the 2016-17 team to its seventh straight 25-win campaign, culminating in an ASUN tournament title and NCAA Tournament appearance. In 2015-16, he was named the espnW mid-major coach of the year following a run that witnessed the Eagles claim a WNIT runner-up finish and a Division-I program best ever 33-6 record. In 2014-15, the team achieved its first-ever top-25 ranking and made another trip to the NCAA Tournament, where the Eagles earned a No. 7 seed and won the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament game, toppling No. 10 seed Oklahoma State.

Including the 2017-18 campaign, Smesko has guided the Eagles to 14-straight 20-win seasons and eight-straight 25-win seasons. He maintains a record of 512-118 (.813) overall in his career, including a 177-16 (.917) mark in ASUN play. Over the past seven + seasons, he has guided FGCU to a 115-4 (.967) record in conference play with four undefeated seasons. Smesko earned his 400th career coaching win in 2014-15 in just 493 career games, two games faster than UConn's Geno Auriemma. Entering 2018-19, he ranked among an elite list of just four active Division I coaches with a career win percentage of .800 or higher, joining Auriemma, Baylor's Kim Mulkey and Stanford's Tara VanDerveer in the esteemed group. Over the past year, first-year NCAA Division-I head coaches Nancy Fahey (Illinois) and Bart Brooks (Belmont) pushed the list to six.
