Jim Blankenship and the FGCU women's soccer staff have announced the dates for upcoming camps.
As winners of eight regular-season titles and six ASUN Tournament crowns, Blankenship and staff will lead a highly-competitive and informational camp atmosphere at the FGCU Soccer Complex.
ID Camps – January 26 & April 20
Our ID Camp is designed for the serious high school soccer player who is looking to be successful at the next level. A separate goalkeeping curriculum will be in place to address the needs of our keepers.
Ages: 14-21
Cost: $150.00
8:30am - 9:00am → Check In / Registration
9:10am - 11:40am → 1st Session
11:45am - 1:15pm → Lunch
1:15pm - 2:20pm → 2nd Session
2:30pm - 4:00pm → Scrimmages

Day Camp - June 10-14, 2019
The FGCU Soccer Day Camp is designed for players wanting to learn the fundamental skills of soccer. Individual instruction emphasizes the use of correct techniques.
Ages: 6-13
Cost: $250 Full Day Campers - 9AM - 3PM
$150 Half Day Campers - 9AM - 11AM
$100 Deposit Required with Registration- non-refundable
Campers should arrive June 10th and check in at the FGCU Soccer Complex from 8:30AM - 9:00AM
Elite Junior Soccer Camp - June 10-13, 2019
The Junior Elite residential camp focuses mainly on the technical education and development of players age 10-13. Tactical ideas will be introduced as well. The goal is to get young players to the next level as they prepare for all of their future successes in the game.
Ages: 10-13
Cost: $550 Overnight Campers - $450 Day Campers; 9AM - 8PM

Campers should arrive June 10th and check in at Alico Arena from 1:00PM - 3:00PM
Elite Camp - July 22-25, 2019
The Elite College Showcase residential camp is designed to improve the skill level and tactical understanding of players 14-18. Practice sessions will be intense and very competitive to challenge at every level of the player's ability. This camp is staffed exclusively with NCAA Division I and II collegiate coaches.

Cost: $595 Overnight Campers - $495 Day Campers; 9AM - 8PM

Blankenship has guided FGCU to a 156-55-23 overall record over the first 12 seasons of the program's existence, including a 76-14-14 mark in the ASUN. Since joining the ASUN in 2007, the Eagles lead the league in conference wins (76) and fewest conference losses (14). In their last eight seasons in the ASUN, FGCU sports a 58-6-8 record. FGCU's 8-0-2 ASUN record in 2010 and 7-0-2 record in 2013 were the 11th and 12th unblemished seasons in conference history and two of seven since the league left divisional play in 1999. The Eagles' 7-0 mark in 2014 was the first undefeated and untied regular season since 2000.
While building four different programs from scratch, Blankenship's teams have won three National Championships, appeared in eight Final Fours, received seven NCAA Division I National Tournament bids and graduated more than 41 All-Americans and 26 Academic All-Americans. Blankenship's impressive career record of 396-126-34 over 26 seasons has come while leading FGCU, University of Miami, Lynn University and St. Thomas University.
All five camps are currently accepting applications. A $100 non-refundable deposit, as well as a medical release, must accompany the application for every camp. The remaining balance is due on the first day of the month in which the camp in on. I.D Camps must be paid in full upon registration. To register, visit fgcusoccer.com.
Prices are as follows: I.D. Camps are $150. Elite Camp is $595 for Overnight Campers and $495 for Day Campers. Jr. Elite Camp is $550 for Overnight Campers and $450 for Day Campers. The Day camp is $250 for a Full-Day Campers (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) and $150 for a Half-Day Campers (9 a.m. – 11 a.m.). Teams or groups of 11 or more who send in their applications and deposits together are eligible for a $25 discount per camper. FGCU employees are eligible for a $25 discount and siblings will receive $10 per camper discount (only one discount per camper).

COACH JIM BLANKENSHIP
A veteran of over two decades in collegiate coaching, head coach Jim Blankenship, who was named the ASUN Coach of the Year in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, has built FGCU women's soccer into a yearly contender in the ASUN Conference and a rising program in the South Region in just 11 seasons. Blankenship started the program in 2007 and has since guided the Eagles to 11 double-digit win seasons, culminating with ASUN Regular Season Championships in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. In 2011 and 2012 he also led the Eagles to back-to-back ASUN Tournament titles and became the first team in the history of the university to make it to the NCAA Tournament. The Eagles went on to win the 2014 ASUN Tournament and hosted the first NCAA Championship event on campus. The Eagles earned their fourth NCAA Tournament appearance with the 2015 ASUN Tournament Championship and won their first NCAA game at USF in 2015 while finishing 24th in the nation. In 2016, the Eagles made it three-consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament with a third-straight ASUN Tournament title. A year later, the Eagles became the first ASUN women's soccer program to make four-straight NCAA Tournaments with another tournament title in 2017. Blankenship has guided FGCU to a 156-55-23 (71.6 W%) overall record through the first 12 seasons of the program's existence, including a 76-14-14 (79.8 W%) mark in the ASUN. Blankenship's impressive career record of 396-126-34 (74.3 W%) over 26 seasons has come while leading FGCU, the University of Miami, Lynn University and St. Thomas University.
