JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – With two weeks and three matches remaining in the regular season, the FGCU women's soccer team is set for its final road match. The Eagles travel north to The River City to face the Jacksonville Dolphins Saturday at 7 p.m. as the Green and Blue look to remain atop the ASUN Conference.
The match will be covered through Live Stats with a video stream available through ESPN3.
SERIES HISTORY
Jacksonville has been a thorn in FGCU's side since the two sides first met in 2007. The Eagles were winless through the first six matches, going 0-2-4 in that time. Since 2012 however, the Eagles have compiled a 4-0-2 mark against the Dolphins, including last season's 2-0 win on Senior Night for the Green and Blue.
Lauren Greene (Lakeland, Fla./George Jenkins HS) and
Tabby Tindell provided the goals against a defensive JU side.
Overall, FGCU is 4-2-6 against Jacksonville and of those six draws, three finished 0-0, while the remaining draws finished 1-1.
Should FGCU pick up all three points Saturday, it will be the Eagles' first win in Jacksonville. The Green and Blue are 0-1-3 in The River City.
RPI WATCH
FGCU jumped seven spots in the latest RPI, checking in at No. 29, as of Monday afternoon. In comparison, when FGCU hosted Auburn in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament in 2014, the Eagles were No. 26.
LAST TIME OUT
FGCU was one of only two teams to go 2-0 last weekend in the ASUN. The Eagles used a five-goal outburst in the first half Friday, along with a strong defensive performance, to defeat NJIT 6-0. The Eagles received two goals from
Marjorie Boilesen (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Porto Seguro/West Florida) and single tallies from
Hope Van Wagner (Avon, Ind./Avon HS),
Holly Fritz (Cape Coral, Fla./Mariner HS/Florida State),
Camille Knudstrup (Lakeland, Fla./George Jenkins HS), as well as the first career goal for
Zoey Spitzer (Naples, Fla./Gulf Coast HS) to secure the victory in New Jersey.
Sunday proved to be a tougher contest, with Greene opening the scoring late in the first half against USC Upstate.
Cassidy Morgan (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay HS) then pushed the lead to 2-0 before the Spartans got a goal back two-thirds of the way through. Morgan's second of the day, however, sealed the three points and pushed FGCU to the top of the table.

Sope Akindoju leads the Dolphins with four goals followed by a trio of goalscorers, including the Preseason Player of the Year Joelle d'Entremont, with two goals each.
Brittany Hundley is coming off a 12-save performance in goal for the Dolphins, a game which JU fell 4-3 in double overtime to Lipscomb. Hundley has started in eight of JU's 11 matches this season, posting a 1.78 goals against average while allowing 13 goals.

LOOK AT THE SCHEDULE
At 10-2-1 overall, FGCU is closing in on yet another potentially historic campaign. A closer look at the schedule shows just how impressive the season has been.
Both of FGCU's losses have come against RPI Top 100 programs, including the No. 1 overall team in terms of RPI and the #3 team overall in the latest coaches poll, South Carolina. The 2-1 loss to the Gamecocks was controversial, ultimately decided by a penalty decision late in the match.
The Eagles' other loss, a 2-1 decision to Arizona State (No. 68), nearly went in FGCU's favor. The Green and Blue had multiple chances early against the Sun Devils but they could not find the back of the net early.
FGCU's biggest win this season is a 1-0 result at RPI No. 29 Arizona. The Wildcats are currently receiving six votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches Association poll. Arizona has currently won four of its last five matches with its only loss at #2 Stanford. The Wildcats sit sixth in the Pac-12, the third-best conference in terms of conference RPI.

ASUN DOMINATION
Since joining the ASUN conference, the Eagles have been the gold standard. For seven-straight seasons, the Green and Blue have lifted the ASUN regular season trophy and for five of the last six seasons, FGCU has earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Under
Jim Blankenship, the Eagles hold a 69-10-14 record against conference foes in the regular season, a regular that only improves when the conference tournament is included (11-0-1).
As part of that impressive run, the Green and Blue are unbeaten in their last 48 matches against conference foes, including the conference tournament. That streak stands as the longest-active streak in the country and the fourth-longest ever.
FGCU also maintains an impressive home record against ASUN foes. The Eagles are 31-0-3 in their last 34 regular season home conference matches. The run of 34-straight unbeaten is the third-longest in the country.
