The Eagles continue Atlantic Sun Conference play on the road with an overall record of 16-4 and a conference mark of 4-0. The team began conference play with a win over rival Stetson and picked up wins over USC Upstate and NJIT last weekend and extended the win streak to nine games with a win at Lipscomb Sunday afternoon. The team previously defeated Lipscomb and UNF before falling to Jacksonville and Stetson in its last two games. KSU is 3-3 in its last six games with a 6-3 mark in games played at home.

Head coach Nitra Perry's squad went 17-13 last season and was predicted to finish fourth in the conference this year. The squad returns seven players from last year's team, including senior Jasmine McAllister. McAllister leads the team with 10.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. The team ranks third in the Atlantic Sun with a shooting percentage of 39.4 and holds the second position in defensive numbers, holding opponents to a 31.7 percent clip overall with a 28.5 percent mark from 3-point range.  The Owls average 37.4 rebounds per game with 12.5 assists and 16.8 turnovers.

Through the first 19 games of the season, the Owls hold an official RPI of 296.
