FORT MYERS, Fla. – After leading the men's soccer program to its third NCAA Tournament appearance this past fall, head coach
Bob Butehorn and the FGCU men's soccer coaching staff has announced that spots are still available for the program's upcoming ID Camp on campus Saturday-Sunday, May 9-10.
Specifically designed for those who are serious about playing at the next level, the ID Camp is a chance to experience life as an FGCU soccer player. Attendees will get to know the coaching staff while improving, learning and perfecting their skill set.
Players will enjoy three training sessions with technical and small-group play in the morning, an educational recruiting seminar with question-and-answer session and a larger tactical game in the afternoon session. All field sessions will take place on the 120x80 celebration grass stadium, home field of the Eagles and the nation's longest home conference unbeaten streak – 26 in a row dating back to 2008.
The ID Camp is open to ages 12-18 and the cost is $275. The camp is held on FGCU's pristine resort-style, beach-lined campus, conveniently located just minutes from the Fort Myers airport and Gulf Coast beaches. More information about the ID Camp can be found by logging on to
