TITUSVILLE, Fla., - The FGCU Women's Cross Country team finished 4th of 14 teams in the floridarunners.com Invitational.

Megan Thies finished with a school record 19:10.13 and a 12th place finish. Christine Baird crossed in 33rd place with a time of 20:40.39. Marie Scarpantonio and Ashley Williams crossed with times of 20:57.89 and 21:21.16 respectively. Stacy Bnbury rounded out the Eagles scoring with a time of 21:54.05.

UCF won the event with a tem score of 19. UCF runners crossed 1-2-3 in the event. The Eagles posted a team score of 149. Miami and The Citadel were second and third.

FGCU will be back in action again next Saturday when they compete in the Walt Disney World Classic in Orlando, Fla., at 8:30 am.
