He kept the momentum rolling on the back nine, adding birdies on holes 10 and 16 while surrendering only a bogey on 18, closing with a back-nine 35 and a clean 2-under 70. His nine birdies through two rounds are tied for the 18th most in the field.
Harper delivered his best round of the week, playing a composed even-par 72 that featured birdies on holes two, seven and 14 against bogeys on holes one, four and 11. He made the turn at even par with a 36, then matched it on the back nine with another 36. Harper's 25 pars through 36 holes are tied for the eighth most in the field.
Figueredo battled early turbulence on the front nine, posting a bogey on one before a birdie on two gave him a brief lift. Bogeys on three and five sent him to the turn at 2-over with a 38. He rallied on the back nine, picking up birdies on holes 11, 16 and 17 while absorbing bogeys on 14 and 15, closing with a back-nine 35 and a final score of 1-over 73.
Moore was inconsistent on the outward half, carding a bogey on the par-3 third and a double bogey on the par-4 fourth before a birdie on the par-5 sixth provided some relief. Another bogey on the par-5 ninth left him at 3-over through nine holes with a 39. He rebounded with a strong inward half, posting birdies on holes 11, 12 and 16 against bogeys on 10 and 18 to close with a back-nine 35 and a 2-over 74. Moore's 23 pars through 36 holes are tied for the 30th most in the field.
Gamboa opened with a bogey on one before settling in with a birdie on the par-5 sixth, making the turn at 1-over with a 37. The back nine proved difficult, as bogeys on holes 12, 15 and 16 offset a birdie on the par-5 11th, and he closed with a back-nine 38 for a 3-over 75. Gamboa's 24 pars through 36 holes are tied for the 18th most in the field.
As a team, the Eagles' 112 pars through two rounds are tied for the seventh most in the field.
