Douglas Tabbed Third-Team All-ASUN, Two Eagles Land on Academic Team

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Atlantic Sun Conference announced its postseason awards Monday, with Florida Gulf Coast University's Sinai Douglas earning Third-Team All-ASUN honors, while Karina Gordon and Jordan Campbell were named to the Academic All-ASUN Team.

"I'm really happy that Sinai was selected by the coaches in this league," says Head Coach Raina Harmon. "In her first year in the ASUN, and really her first year playing sound collegiate basketball, being named Third-Team All-ASUN is a tremendous accomplishment. I thought she really started to take off late in the season, and I'm proud of the way she's leading us as our starting point guard. When you look at the goals our players set, earning above a 3.5 GPA over the last two semesters, it makes it even more special that Jordan Campbell and Karina Gordon were named to the ASUN All-Academic Team. That's super impressive. At the end of the day, we value them being students first and athletes second, and this recognition reflects that commitment."

Douglas has been a steady and versatile force for the Eagles throughout the season, starting all 29 games and averaging 11.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest. She led the team with 102 assists and 50 steals, highlighting her two-way impact as both a playmaker and perimeter defender. Douglas scored in double figures 19 times this season, including a career-high 24-point performance at Austin Peay and a 23-point outing at North Florida, cementing her place among the league's top contributors.

Gordon and Campbell were recognized for their combined excellence in athletics and academics with Academic All-ASUN Team selections.

Gordon, a communication major with a 3.756 GPA, averaged 6.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 38.3 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from three-point range. She provided key perimeter scoring throughout the year, including a career-high 24 points against Ave Maria, and consistently delivered in important conference matchups.

Campbell, a business administration major who holds a 3.740 GPA, appeared in 29 games and made three starts for the Eagles. She averaged 2.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, highlighted by a career-high 14-point performance against Fort Lauderdale. Campbell also added 24 steals and eight blocks on the defensive end, contributing valuable minutes off the bench while maintaining strong academic standing.

The trio's recognition underscores FGCU's continued commitment to success both on the court and in the classroom as the Eagles move forward into the ASUN Tournament.
