FORT MYERS, Fla.  – Getting settled in to watch nine (or seven) innings of Eagles success just became a lot. FGCU Athletics, in coordination with Chartwells, is excited to announce some great new additions to the concessions offerings at Swanson Stadium and the FGCU Softball Complex this spring.
New this spring will be personal pizzas, chocolate chip cookies and beverage bats, available for sale at all FGCU home baseball and softball games. This joins the already delicious lineup of hot dogs, popcorn, Cracker Jack, chips and candy available for sale, along with an assortment of cold drinks for all ages.

"These new offerings will just add to the already enjoyable fan experience at FGCU baseball and softball games," said
Shane Pellegrine, Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions for the Eagles. "Thanks to Chartwells for their collaboration on adding to the great offerings at our games."
All of the concession offerings will be available beginning Thursday, when FGCU softball opens the season by hosting Charlotte at 6:30 p.m. That not only begins the season, but also opens the FGCU Kickoff Classic, which also includes Ball State, Long Island and Southern Illinois.
FGCU baseball opens the season a week later when North Dakota State visits Swanson Stadium for a three-game series beginning Friday, Feb. 13.
