How It Happened
Prior to the start of Sunday's final round, the Eagles returned to the course in the morning to complete the remaining holes of round two after play was suspended Saturday due to darkness. FGCU opened the tournament at 14-over in the first round, improved to 2-over in the second round, and closed with a 6-over final round to secure their team total of +22.

Nolan Harper led the way for the Eagles, finishing in a tie for 12th at 1-under par for the tournament. After solid play through the first two rounds, Harper delivered one of the low rounds of the day on Sunday, firing a 3-under 67 that featured steady ball-striking and key birdies on both nines to climb the leaderboard.

Sacha Ruiz finished in a tie for 40th at 5-over par, capping his weekend with a 2-over 72 in the final round. Sebastian Gamboa placed in a tie for 67th at 10-over overall, carding a 4-over 74 in the final round. Brett Moore finished tied for 69th at 11-over for the tournament, closing with a 3-over 73 on Sunday. Christian Figueredo completed the lineup with a tie for 79th at 13-over par, posting a 7-over 77 in the final round.

As a team, the Eagles showed improvement from round one to round two and remained competitive throughout the weekend against one of the strongest fields they will face this spring. FGCU produced a solid final-round performance that will provide momentum as the Eagles continue their spring campaign.
