TERRE HAUTE, Ind.- The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles turned in their best performance of the year on Friday, dashing their way to a third-place finish at the Nike Town Twilight in Terre Haute, Ind.

The Eagles earned a third-place finish with 90 points behind only UC San Diego who had five runners in the top 12 to close with 40 points, and Texas Tech who placed three in the top 10 to finish with 52 points. FGCU finished ahead of Southeast Missouri, Southern Indiana, Indiana State, and Eastern Illinois in the top 10.

Alise Petrova once again led the Eagle runners, turning in a fifth-place finish with a 21.50.4 which ranks in the top 15 in program history in the 6k.
Rhyen Foley earned her first top 10 finish at the collegiate level, using a blazing middle sector to move up seven spots before eventually finishing 10
th with a 22:21.6.
Juliana Courville got off to a quick start where she found herself in the top 10 at the 2000m mark before dashing across the finish line for a 13
th place finish with a 22:32.5.
Addison Torres and Tess Schultz turned in solid performances in the midfield for the Eagles with 29
th and 34
th place finishes respectively to round out the FGCU scorers.

The Eagles return to the Sunshine State for their final race of the regular season on October 16
th in Lakeland when they look to defend their team title at the Ed Holloway Classic.
