Women’s tennis heads to Miami Wednesday

FORT MYERS, Fla. — After earning 4–3 victories over St. John's and Miami (Ohio) last weekend, the Florida Gulf Coast University women's tennis team will play its first road match of the season Wednesday.

The Eagles will do battle with the Hurricanes at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center starting at 12 noon.

The match was originally scheduled for last Wednesday but was postponed due to inclement weather in Miami.

Miami will open its season against the Eagles and leads the all-time series 6–0, including a 7–0 victory on Feb. 3, 2023.

Anjali Kotecha and June Bjork have led FGCU (2–0) with two singles wins and two doubles victories apiece.
