FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Gulf Coast University is proud to announce it will serve as the host of the 2025 ASUN Volleyball Championship, held from November 20-23 at Alico Arena. The tournament will bring eight of the conference's top teams to Fort Myers for three days of high-stakes competition to determine the league's champion and automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.
The Eagles, a perennial powerhouse in the ASUN, will look to leverage their home-court advantage. FGCU has won the ASUN Tournament championship five times in program history, including a remarkable run of four consecutive titles from 2021 to 2024. The Eagles have also secured eight ASUN regular-season titles, most recently in 2024.
This year also marks the first time that new head coach
Thais Baziquetto-Allen will compete for a spot in the ASUN Volleyball Championship. A decorated coach with three NJCAA national championships at Florida Southwestern State College, Coach Baziquetto-Allen's arrival has brought a new energy to the program.
