FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University men's soccer and head coach Oliver Twelvetrees have added 13 to the 2025 roster. The new additions come from all around the college ranks from NAIA to DII to junior college, to power conference and mid major DI schools.

PEDRO ARCOVERDE; Grad Student; Defender; Sao Paulo, Brazil

Arcoverde comes to FGCU after most recently playing at Missouri State after spending some time at Cowley College. At Missouri State, the defender played in 27 games, scoring twice. He joins two other Brazilians who came stateside via Cowley College on the Eagles' roster.

"Pedro is an experienced defender who is a top-class ball playing center back. He will add the ability to break lines and control possession out of the back."

BRIAN LOPEZ; Junior; Midfielder; Miami, Fla.

Lopez joins the Eagles after winning the NJCAA National Championship at Iowa Western. He scored five goals and eight assists for the Reivers. Lopez returns to the Sunshine State after playing in high school at Mater Lakes Academy.

ANDRES CARDENAS; Grad Student; Forward; Davie, Fla.

Cardenas returns to Florida after spending his undergraduate years at North Carolina. He played in 24 games for the Tar Heels with five starts.

IGNATIUS DEMARK; Grad Student; Defender; Phoenix, Arizona

Ignatius is one of the transfers following Twelvetrees from CSU Pueblo. Demark was tied for the lead in the RMAC in assists with 13 assists with teammate Caio Oliveira. He was second team All-RMAC.

DYLAN ZAVATINI; Grad Student; Defender; Santa Catarina, Brazil

Zavatini is also coming to FGCU after most recently playing at CSU Pueblo. He netted six goals in 2024. These offensive contributions from the backline were key to the ThunderWovles' success as they were 5-0-1 in games when Zavatini scored.

MARIO BASTANTE; Grad Student; Midfielder; Santander, Spain

Mario comes stateside from Spain after playing for UM Escobedo of the fourth tier of the Spanish soccer pyramid. He scored three goals in his most recent stint with his Spanish side.

"Mario is a combative midfielder who can break up play and start attacks. Experienced player will make an impact in college soccer in his first year."

SALVADOR MARTINEZ; Grad Student; Midfielder; Tampico, Mexico

Salvador played at the University of the Cumberlands where he was NAIA Second Team All-American. He scored 10 goals and eight assists.

"Salvador is a gifted attacking player can score all sorts of goals.  Sal will add a different look to our already explosive front line."

JOSE BUSTAMANTE; Senior; Forward; Davie, Fla.

Bustamante is transferring to FGCU from CSU Pueblo where he scored 10 goals and three assists in 2024 across 16 starts.

JAI SAHNI; Sophomore; Midfielder; San Ramon, Calif.

Sahni joins the nest after playing at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif. In 2023, he appeared in eight games, totaling 124 minutes.

"Jai can play in a number of positions in the midfield. He has an eye for goal with a top class work rate and attitude.

NICOLAS LEITE; Grad Student; Goalkeeper; Santo Andre, Brazil

Leite played the previous season at Dalton State where he was the starting goalkeeper for the NAIA National Champions. He ended the 2024 campaign with six clean sheets.

GUSTAF ROSENGREN; Grad Student; Defender; Stockholm, Sweden

Rosengren comes to FGCU after stops at Tulsa and Quinnipiac. He started 12 games in 2024 for the Bobcats.

CAIO OLIVEIRA; Grad Student; Midfielder; Espigao d'Oeste, Brazil

Oliveira comes to FGCU after playing under Twelvetrees at CSU Pueblo. He totaled 33 points with 10 goals and 13 assists.

LUCAS BARSOEE; Sophomore; Midfielder; Roskilde, Denmark

Barsoee joins FGCU after playing his freshman year at Robert Morris University. His team made it to the NCAA Tournament with Barsoee contributing two goals and two assists.
