FORT MYERS, Fla. –
Emily Chiarella moves into the top 10 career stolen base list in FGCU's DI era and
Olivia Black hits her second inside the park home run of the week as Florida Gulf Coast University softball won both games on Friday by scores of 8-0 against Columbia and 7-1 against Toledo.
The Eagles started off the day against the Lions. FGCU and Columbia have played once before this year, an 11-3 run-rule victory in five innings. Friday's rematch saw a similar result, an 8-0 run-rule victory in five innings. This is the third straight run-rule victory for the Green and Blue against the Lions.

Tiffany Meek led the Eagles at the plate with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, four RBI and a triple to total out her day against Columbia.
The Green and Blue bounced back immediately to face Toledo. The Eagles continued their big day at the plate with two runs in the second against the Rockets. FGCU would plate seven and toy with another run-rule victory in the fifth before ultimately winning 7-1.
Nikki Gibson went 2-for-2 against the Rockets with four RBI and a triple of her own.
Avery Viancos recorded her second multi-hit game of the day while Meek also put up a multi-hit effort in the second game.
FGCU returns to action tomorrow with two more games against Toledo and Columbia starting at 11 a.m.
