Women's tennis heads to Central Arkansas

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University women's tennis is heading to Conway, Arkansas to battle University of Central Arkansas at 11 a.m. Sunday for an Atlantic Sun Conference match.

The Green and Blue (7-6) dominates the series 3-0 over the Sugar Bears (7-6). The Eagles delivered a 7-0 sweep on April 14, 2024.

FGCU is coming off a close 4-3 defeat at the hands of Stetson University Tuesday, while UCA delivered a 7-0 victory at Northeastern Oklahoma State Sunday.

Anjali Kotecha holds an 8-4 record in singles, and took home last week's Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Week award.

Nora Svensson and Paloma Goldsmith lead the Green and Blue with a 6-6 mark in doubles action mainly playing on court No. 2.
