Freshman (2024–25)
Kotecha was named the 2024-25 season ASUN Player of the year with a 14-5 overall record and 7-2 in the league.
Kotecha recorded 13 singles victories during her sophomore season, competing mainly at the No. 3 position. She earned wins over Middle Tennessee, Minnesota, Mercer, University of South Florida, Yale, South Alabama, St. John’s, Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Queens, Eastern Kentucky, Lipscomb, North Alabama, and Austin Peay. Several of her matches went to three sets, showcasing her resilience and competitive spirit, including comebacks against Georgia Southern, Central Arkansas, and North Alabama.
In doubles,Kotecha partnered primarily with Francisca Vergara, earning multiple wins at the No. 3 position. Highlights included victories over Barry, Columbia, University of South Florida, South Alabama, Bellarmine, Stetson, Eastern Kentucky, Lipscomb, North Florida, and Austin Peay. Her consistent play and teamwork at the net contributed significantly to the team’s success throughout the season.
